Our HistoryInnovative Technology of America was formed to develop, produce and sell Safety Transmitters that form part of the highway information system called Safety Warning System® (SWS®). SWS® has been described as the perfect pathway toward the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) of tomorrow, a brilliant new tool for preventing accidents, injuries and deaths. SWS® employs our transmitters to generate messages in the tens of millions of receivers already in vehicles and alert drivers to the presence of dozens of specific hazards and unique traffic conditions they are approaching - school buses loading/unloading students, school zones, road work zones, hidden intersections, active rail crossings, responding emergency vehicles, utility crews at work and much more. Our PhilosophyR&D and manufacturing engineers, material specialists and quality personnel joined to establish Innovative Technology of America and meet the demands of our customers.
